The Sakka Nankana Centenary function was held in Gurdwara Janam

The Sakka Nankana Centenary function was held in Gurdwara Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib today (21 Feb 2021) from 1100- 1230 hrs. About 2000 Sikh and Nanak Namlewa attended the rituals. Local MNA and Federal Minister Brig (Retd) Ejaz Shah was the Chief Guest.

2. Pakistan issued 720 visas to Indian Sikh yatrees as a special permission to attend the rituals. But Indian Govt didnot allow yatrees to come to Pakistan.
3. All the arrangements were made by ETPB and PSGPC. Follwing were prominent participants:-

   Mahinderpal Singh MPA,
   Gopal Singh Chawla, ex member PSGPC

   Tariq Wazir, Addl Secy ETPB
   Imran Gondal, Dy Secy ETPB
4. Speakers paid rich tributes to the Govt for making special arrangements to observe Centenary of Nankana (1921) and condemned the Indian Govt for not allowing Indian yatrees to participate.
5. Giayni Harpreet Singh criticized Indian Govt and said that Sikh community around the world have decided to observe the event every year to condemn this act of Indian Govt.
